Rev. Dr. Ivan Peden - Senior Minister

His accent has a unique flair. His heart sometimes rules his head. His ideals challenge. His standards are high. He resists being average in every way.

As a preacher and pastor, Ivan combines a tenacious individualism with a sensitive, caring disposition. As a naturalized American, he brings to the ministry a strong sense of social justice and reconciliation out of his native South African background.

As a husband and father, he loves deeply, invests emotionally, and enjoys time with his spouse, Carol, and children Sarah and Luke. Ivan received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. He is also a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary, in Pasadena, California and Rhodes University, South Africa.
